Hydroxypropyl starch is supplied as a white or off-white, freely flowing powder. HPS is a modified starch derivative obtained by etherification of native starch with propylene oxide. Hydroxypropylation results in the substitution of hydroxyl groups with 2-hydroxypropyl ether.

HPS is a white fine powder obtained from natural plants as raw materials, modified, highly etherified. It does not contain plasticizers.It is widely used Gypsum-based mortar, cement-based mortar, wall putty and coating materials

Applications:

● As an admixture for cement-based and lime-calcium-based putty productsand mortar. It has good compatibility with other building admixtures. It can improve workability, ensure construction, and reduce the amount of cellulose ether.
● It can be used in conjunction with methyl cellulose ether, it can increase the thickness, promote the internal structure, and have better crack resistance, sag resistance and improved workability.
● Recommended for Various (cement-based, gypsum-based, lime-calcium-based) internal and external wall putty powder and various mortars
● Recommended Dosage: 0.3-0.5‰(Re：Prospective buyers will have to conduct their own tests and studies to determine specific dosages for their particular purposes and specific applications.)
